SYNOPSIS

Odin Dupeyron’s Twenty-Two Twenty-Two

A dead serious comedy about life

‘We all have an expiration date’. This is the premise of the play, “Twenty-two:Twenty-two” written by Odin Dupeyron.

Oscar Wulff is experiencing the worst crisis of his life and in his darkest hour, he decides to take drastic measures. In this process, he encounters a peculiar man who takes him on a journey through some of the best and worst moments of his life, testing his judgment, questioning his beliefs, and ultimately, confronting the audience with the most transcendental question we should all ask ourselves —With only one chance at life, what do you not want to miss?

In his very distinctive style, Odin Dupeyron’s writing has connected with audiences for the past 15 years with various plays and monologues. “Twenty-two:Twenty-Two” has been performed over 1000 times in 6 countries and in more than 50 cities. For the first time in English, the play will premiere in Miami, followed by a series of performances around the country before its unveiling in New York when it makes its way to Broadway.
